Description

As you approach the University from Drake Circus (Shopping Centre) you will pass the new Roland Levinsky Building. Leave it on your left and walk up North Hill Road (the road with the Library and the Museum). Immediately after the Roland Levinsky Building you will find the Link and Davy Building, with orange round automatic doors. Step in and go to the lift on your right. Follow the Babylab yellow signs, they will take you at the second floor, in the nice waiting area of the Babylab where one of us will meet you.

The experimenter you had contact with should have left you her/his mobile number, so please do not hesitate to ring her/him in case you can't find us!

Travel

By bus

Bus information, timetables and routes can be obtained from Traveline.

Alternatively there is detailed route map and bus services information on Plymouth city council’s website.

www.plymouth.gov.uk/homepage/transportandstreets/publictransport/buses

Most of the buses which stop directly outside the University (Stops: U1, U2, U3, U4) are run by Plymouth Citybus Ltd. (Tel. 01752 222 221.)

By car

The Drake Circus University campus is in the centre of Plymouth . The easiest option if you are coming from outside the city, is to follow signs to the city centre and once there you should see signs for The drake Circus shopping centre and parking which is very close by and an easily recognisable land mark. This is a good place to park as it is easy to find and only 2 minutes walk away. Please see below for further details and links to other nearby car parks.

www.plymouth.gov.uk/carparks

There are very few car parking spaces available on the University campus and charges apply so it usually easiest to use the external car parks.

If you are operating pay and display your session should last no longer than an hour.

Park and ride

There are two Park and ride schemes operating from Coypool and George Junction and Milehouse. The Coypool service can drop you at Drake Circus shopping centre. The George Junction and Milehouse service can drop you in Cobourg or Charles Street . See the link below for more information.

Don’t forget we will reimburse you the cost of your parking ticket or bus fare when you come into the baby lab (unless you prefer to choose one of our Babylab t-shirts for your child)!
